Pale Horse, from the Ohio Militia feels he needs to make a dent.  At least he asks for legal weapons, no felons.

Um, NO.

IMF projecting 4.1 trillion in financial losses

Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009

Hat tip to the Economic Populist:

The IMF projects financial losses will hit $4.1 trillion with most losses originated from the U.S.:

Worldwide losses tied to distressed loans and securitized assets may reach $4.1 trillion by the end of 2010 as the recession and credit crisis exact a higher toll on financial institutions, the International Monetary Fund said.

Banks will shoulder about 61 percent of the writedowns, with insurers, pension funds and other nonbanks assuming the rest, the Washington-based lender said in a report released today on the state of the global financial system. The fund forecast $2.7 trillion in losses from U.S.-originated loans and assets, compared to its estimates of $2.2 trillion in January and $1.4 trillion in October.

There have already been $510 billion in writedowns but the IMF is projecting $550 billion more by 2010.

In other words, we’re not even at the half way point.

US Military now gonna use DOGS, real live dogs in their clone army

The US Military wants puppy training machines.

Automated mammalian training devices are the latest out-there idea from Pentagon spooky research arm Darpa, as it furthers its plot to replace every last military staffer with either a computer or a more subservient creature. The agency is seeking proposals to create a portable gadget that “automates the training of complex behaviors in animals without human intervention.” Among the highly cerebral tasks that Darpa hopes the obedient animals will be able to accomplish:

- Discrimination of objects, verbal commands and olfactory clues

- Retrieval and transport of objects between locations

- Association of human vocabulary with object of actions

Can’t they just hire the Dog Whisperer?

When you’re elderly and alone and broke, you can bet you’ll look to your government to provide a bare level of support. Especially when you add up all the taxes you paid in, during your working life.

Socialism?

I don’t think so…

Yes, that must be it. Because all those big corporations that enslave workers around the world are always owned by black people!

LOLZ.

Nail in the Tea Party Coffin

Monday, April 20th, 2009

Hat tip to Macon and Oliver Willis:

I’m all for protesting about taxes, but Macon puts forth the following stats:

During Ronald Reagan years, US debt went from $85 billion to $255 billion.

  • Did Republicans throw Tea Party protests?  Um, NO.

George Herbert Walker Bush took the deficit up to $399 billion in his 4th year of Presidency, he thought it was great, because debt had hit $432 billion in his 3rd year.

  • Did Republicans throw Tea Party protests?  Um, NO.

federaldeficit1

President Clinton managed to turn the deficit into a $128 billion SURPLUS.

  • Did Republicans throw Tea Party jubilees?  Um, NO.

George W, in his first year, turned that surplus into a $133 billion deficit.  Again, the US was DEEP in debt.

  • Did Republicans throw Tea Party protests?  Um, NO.

By last year, the deficit had ballooned to more than $10 trillion.

  • Did Republicans throw Tea Party protests?  Um, NO.

lipstick-on-a-deficit

TEN TRILLION DOLLARS AND NO TEA PARTY PROTESTS?

Radio wags like Limbaugh and Beck and Santelli?  They’re just mad they lost the election.  They don’t really care, or they would have complained about the billions George W spent on his war, which he hid from Congress and kept off the budget books.  As Macon points out, this is similar to the Wall Street accountants ‘forgetting’ to actually show real losses on their balance sheets.

  • Did Republicans throw Tea Party protests?  Um, NO.

And last Fall, when Bush jammed the $700 BILLION bank and auto industry bailout through?

  • Did Republicans throw Tea Party protests?  Um, NO.

Why? Because its not a real movement.  Its an anti Barack Obama statement.

Its an unconsciously (let’s hope) racist, anti-American statement of such epic proportions that they fail to see how obviously empty their acts are, in light of their INACTION when billions, and billions, and billions, and billions of dollars were blown by  THEIR OWN PARTY year after year.

As a populist action group, it sounded great, but as an AUTHENTIC populist action group, it fails.

The evils of banking

Friday, April 17th, 2009

Ugh.  This is a tough post to write because the human toll is so crushing.

s-indian-farmers-large

1500 farmers in India have committed suicide.  Deforestation, low water levels, a badly built dam and global warming have combined to kill off their crops.  This alone is bad news.

But they are trapped in ‘vicious money lending schemes‘, so impossible to get out of that they killed themselves.

How does this affect the United States and American workers?

In the US, banks are triple dipping,

  • Taking bailout funds from American taxpayers
  • NOT accurately reporting their massive losses, which delays actual recovery and costs more to maintain the lie
  • not lending except at higher rates
  • increasing their credit card interest rates

images

At the same time, they are claiming PROFITS.

The American taxpayer is getting screwed.  Royally.

Its profit gone amok, and the American worker is working overtime to pay, pay, pay…

With an L-shaped recovery ahead of us, we need to take over banks and stop their ‘vicious money lending schemes’ on our own shores.

Tea Party sign: “Call the Elitists What They Are: Dictators” WTF? What was GWB, if not a Dictator?

Hat Tip to Momocrats:

He started a war without Congressional Approval, ensuring that the costs of war wouldn’t show up in budgets.  This went against the balance between Executive, Judicial and Legislative Branches I was taught about in grade school…

He spied on Legislators and American citizens without warrants.

He tortured and lied about it.

He lifted all regulations that protected working Americans’ financial assets.

He was a dictator.

Well, he was elitist, I’ll give the Tea Party demonstrators THAT!

But where was this woman during the 8 years of real dictatorship?

And why, during the cleanup of the horror that Bush left behind, isn’t she offering to be part of the solution?

6a00e54ee378958833011570235857970b-500pi

Oh, and get this:  neo-Nazis are looking at the Tea Party movement as the ultimate dream:

Ladies and gentlemen, I think every WN needs to not only attend the April 15th Tea Party nearest you (I’m going to the Alamo in San Antonio) but then stay involved and help provide leadership to this movement.

I believe that this is the white revolution we’ve been waiting for.

It doesn’t look what we expected but this is it.

I’ve seen probably 50 videos on TV showing previous marches and what strikes me is that the participants are all WHITE. It stands to reason . . . we’re the ones being taxed to support Affirmative Action, Welfare and other worthless social programs. It’s our tax dollars going to ACORN and supporting the 12 million illegals swarming into our neighborhoods.

For the first time, white people (a.k.a. the lemmings) are finally awake and taking to the streets.

Right now the movement is about taxes . . . but with leadership and guidance we can help turn this movement into a lot more.

So turn off the computer. Take off the red laces and fold your jeans over your Doc Martins. Hang the storm trooper uniform in the closet. Take off the robe. Reverently fold your Confederate flag and put it away for now.

Become one of them. Join the marches and help organize future events in your neighborhood. Go slow . . . don’t hit people with WN philosophy all at once.

Become a leader and a teacher. Show them the relationship between what they want and what we want. You can help convince the people you meet that even though they themselves don’t see it yet, a return to white values and a white nation is the answer to what troubles them.

Um, WTF?  Racist and blind…

Missouri running out of free public defense lawyers. How about re-doing social and justice systems instead?

Thursday, April 16th, 2009

101508_publicdefender1_t_w600_h600

Missouri courts are overloaded with criminal cases.  Missouri’s Public Defenders are overloaded with cases.  They can’t service the cases they do have.

Missouri ranks 49th in the country in per capita spending on indigent defense, and overwhelmed public defenders in the state’s biggest cities have begun to decline cases – urging judges to appoint private counsel instead. But a Missouri appeals court this week ordered them to take all cases, saying rejecting cases is not constitutional.

Their options are to take more cases, so they’re not providing adequate legal representation, or to decline more cases and handle the cases they have.

If they decline cases, then Missouri must pay to hire private lawyers.

Ahem.

I see a problem here.

Why not look globally at all the cases handled by the State of Missouri.

  • If they are petty theft, you’re dealing with too much underlying poverty.  Spend State money to provide basic food and services.
  • If its drug related, you’re dealing with addiction.  Spend money to provide rehabilitation in the community, along with basic food and services.
  • If its violence related, you’re dealing with anger management issues.  Spend money in the school systems, the juvenile justice systems, and the prison system teaching non-violent communication.
  • If its white collar crime, a la Bernie Madoff, go for the jugular and get money to reimburse the State for all the monies spent to stabilize the community.

Just saying.

Its not always a solution to hire more lawyers.  Someone’s got to have vision and get into the communities to train growth into healthy systems.

Its doable.  Lets do it.
