Stock Market doesn’t hate Obama, it hates TRUTH

Its so FUNNY to hear pundits and Mainstream Media put the blame for Wall Street’s tumble and the horrendous amount of job losses onto President (for two months) Obama.

The Stock Market doesn’t hate Obama, it hates the TRUTH. Americans don’t want to hear the truth.
Actually, we do. Desperately. We want someone to tell us the truth.
The TRUTH
- that we’ve been spending more than we have
- that we’ve refused to live within our means
- that we’ve blinded ourselves to the woes of the world economy
- that we’ve GREEDILY tried to make money any which way, unregulated
- that we hate being babysat and don’t want regulations, until we get screwed by a couple of rich white guys
So the stock market has tanked hundreds of points. This is true.
It should tank a couple of thousand more.
Jobs have been lost by the millions, but they’ve been lost for the last 8 years, not the last two months. More will be lost, sadly.
Why?
Because we still don’t see and don’t wanna see the truth:
- there are no reserves in banks and insurance companies and the shadow banking industry
- that we cannot afford the lifestyle that we call ‘the American way of life’
- that we need to tighten our belts for three or four years
- that we need to take care of each other in our small communities, not take care of big corporations
- that we need to hack 1/2 off the dollar amount in our heads, of whatever we think we own. 1/2 our house value, 1/2 our stock portfolio or savings account. Then we start afresh with 1/2 of what we thought we owned, but a more realistic number in this down economy.
- we have systems that need to be gutted: the defense system that misspent 3/5 of its 500 billion dollar contracts, for example.
- we have to grow a heart like the Grinch and STOP saying ‘those stupid people who refuse to care for themselves’ about our fellow citizens, when we see corporations get away with financial murder of a global economy.
- we need to have faith that we can start over again, this time not judging each other, but instead working with each other
We’re all pretty broke right now. Regardless of whether or not you own a home or not, or are working three jobs just to get by:
We do not want to be UNIQUELY AMERICAN for working 3 jobs to subsist! Do we?
Don’t we want America to stand for vitality, happiness, challenge, activity, togetherness?
