Andrew Card still whining, wishes Obama would dress up in Oval Office despite photos of Reagan and Bush in shirt sleeves

After blogging about this a few days ago, and pointing out that Bush wore a jacket while he ran the United States into the worst economic depression in history, I was stunned to see (via Huffington Post) that Andrew Card is STILL harping on Obama for not wearing a suit coat in the Oval Office.
This time, without realizing the irony of his statement, Card suggests that wearing a suit coat protects the US Constitution.
Um, what?
Bush, in his jacket, shredded the US Constitution, started a war without democratic approval and paid for it with emergency expenditures, taking its costs outside of the US budget.
In a supremely smug interview on Inside Edition, Card says:
“The Oval Office symbolizes…the Constitution, the hopes and dreams, and I’m going to say democracy. And when you have a dress code in the Supreme Court and a dress code on the floor of the Senate, floor of the House, I think it’s appropriate to have an expectation that there will be a dress code that respects the office of the President.”
Unfortunately for Card, Huffington Post shows photos of Conservative icons Reagan and GWB, in their, wait for it, shirt sleeves in the Oval Office.

Seriously, would Card have whined if Obama were white? Doubtful. He sees disrespect where there is none, because he doesn’t know what to do with a black man as President and sees Obama’s actions as disrespectful.
