It is mind-numbing how blind we are to our own blindness!
The US Army sent out letters to families of DEAD US SERVICEMEN and WOMEN, with the address:
DEAR JOHN DOE:
When young men and women die for our Country, when they serve on foreign lands and only come home in caskets, CAN WE PLEASE treat their memory with deep thoughtfulness?
Its easy to see why we can’t care about the dead we are leaving littered around the streets, schools and hospitals of the countries we go to war within, when we don’t even honor our own dead.
Bless our dead servicemen and servicewomen and bless all the dead of war.
